ClearPointe offers a hosted System Center Operations Manager 2007 R2 service for outside-in monitoring and management of clients' on-premise and datacenter or cloud-based IT resources. We develop custom management packs for unique customer needs to deliver performance data and alerts to ClearPointe’s SCOM back-end. Our engineers are uniquely positioned to analyze data and alerts across companies of all sizes, geographies, and industries. This allows ClearPointe to apply information from individual client incidents across multiple environments, leveraging our management cloud for the benefit of customers of all sizes. Unlike running SCOM in a single enterprise, ClearPointe’s wide variety of customers provides us exposure to a variety of incidents that a single company is not exposed to. This experience allows ClearPointe to adjust and fine-tune our model so that incidents do not repeat themselves at other client networks.

 

ClearPointe operates this service from our SAS70 Type II audited 24/7 EYES ONTM network operations center which is fully staffed 24x7x365 to proactively manage customers' servers and network infrastructure. The use of SCOM in this hosted model eliminates the majority of the capital expense typically required for clients to implement and operate SCOM in-house, providing immediate and measureable return on investment.
